What Is Up With Gas Prices?

People are stupid!  I manage a local hardware store and I would like to tell you of a stupid man that is typical of our uninformed population.
 
It is spring in Our Great Nation.  I come to work, and I notice that three huge heaters have been delivered to my store.  They are a "special order" from a customer.  I wonder for a few days why someone would order almost $700 worth of heaters at the very end of May.
 
Today, the customer came in and I found out.  He is very liberal and told us all about how Saudi Arabia is about to cut the United States off of our oil supplly.  He said that he will be prepaired for this and recommended that we all do the same thing.  (Winters in Minnesota are cold!) 
 
Seems that he gets his information from www.themoonismadeofgreencheese.org .  First, most of our oil comes from Canada and Mexico.  Second, we have about a 60 year supply of oil in reserve in the United States.  Third, (hold on to your hats)...  the heaters that he bought were Kerosene heaters! 
 
Please, may God help us.

Sad News

One more of my brothers in the American Legion has passed on.  I will be at the funeral tomorrow.  Let us hope that more young veterans join the American Legion and help to keep America on track.  Now, more than ever, we need young veterans to join up and help us promote "Americanism" and "Common Sense" in our Great Nation. 
 
This just brings to the fore-front of my mind, the fact that Memorial Day is much more important than most Americans see it as.  This is a time when all of us need to reflect on the lives of those that have gone before us and the sacrifices that they have made. Our young people have no idea what the, (as they would call them, "Geezers") went through to preserve the freedoms that they enjoy today.
 
I have made it possible in my small way, to write a "Memorial Day Tribute" in honor of these "Fallen Heros".  I have had a small amount of "Memorial Day Tributes", most of the responses that I have gotten though, have been negative.  This just makes it more important to me to continue to try and spread the word that Our Great Nation has lost it's way! 
 
Put a flag on a grave, say thanks to a servicemember, join a Veterans' group, talk to your kids, stand when a flag goes by at a parade and may God Continue To Bless The United States Of America!

The "Nesses"

I spend alot of time at a local hardware store.  I love the fact that people come there and love life!  I have made many friends there mostly with old timers that don't let the little things bother them.  They don't care if Hillary or John or Barrack committed the ultimate sin of wearing white before or after Labor Day.  (Whatever the rule is)  They just like talking to their fellow man and solving a problem.  This is what the soul of our Great Nation  is all about. 
 
When the flag that they fly in their front yard gets faded or torn, they take it to the local American Legion post or the local VFW post so that it can be burned. 
 
Most bloggers would hear this and say, "Burned! I thought that the evil conservatives hate it when the american flag gets burned?"  This is how out of touch with America's Soul our left coast and right coast have become.
 
Please join me in my little blog out of millions about Common Sense and Americanism.  Why have we lost our pride to the "nessess" like political correctness, do what feels good'ness, the government needs to take care of me'ness, peace at all costs'ness and we Must be popular with the rest of the world'ness.

UnCommon Sense

Common Sense is in short supply these days, not only in America, but all over the world.  Our schools systems, both public and private teach postmodernism and political correctness.  Our sons and daughters swallow it up and they are "Instantly Stupid".  How many parents ask their children what they learned at school today.  Not Many.  They trust our school systems to "babysit" our kids and don't think much about what they have been taught.
 
In Burma, the population has apparently been taught that America and all of the West is evil.  They won't even let us send relief supplies to the region.  Although this is on the macro level, this is a perfect example of what is happening to our children in "our" schools.
